Seit langer Zeit bewahren die Hüter des Lichts, Weihnachtsmann North, Osterhase Bunny, die Zahnfee und der Sandmann Glaube, Hoffnung und Träume aller Kinder. Dann beginnt ihr Gegenspieler, der bösartige Pitch einen wohldurchdachten Feldzug, pflanzt Alpträume in Kinderköpfe und gewinnt daraus unheimliche Macht. In größter Not wenden sich die Hüter an den spaßorientierten Einzelgänger Jack Frost, der noch gar nicht ahnt, mit was für magischen Kräften er dem Siegeszug von Pitchs finsteren Weltherrschaftsplänen Einhalt gebieten könnte.
